Winsor Pilates

I have these tapes from 2002. I have been doing one of them religiously lately and I am seeing results, but I wasnt feeling that it was difficult anymore. So I decided to add ankle weights while I do it. Needless to say, I FEEL IT NOW! Wow, What a difference! I am going to be hurting tomorrow.
Tom bought me a couple pairs of flip flops at old navy the other day. It was really sweet of him. I think that old navy is the only place where I can find cute shoes that fit a size 11 foot! I love that store. I need to just go in and spend some time shopping for myself. The only thing that I really hate is when there is a super cute outfit on one of the manequins and I go and try it on and then it looks awful on me(probably because I am not a 6'0 stick skinny A-Cup, instead I am a 5'9 average DD-cup). Darn store manequins!

You know your Sudafed is working when......

1. you take a shower and tip your head back to rinse out the shampoo and fall asleep, only to wake up when your head hits the back of the shower.
2. you go to flop face first onto your bed and miss completely, by a couple of feet, landing on the floor with a loud "thud".
3. you get excited about being able to breathe out of one nostril!

It was a rough night. Oh well. Such is life. I am looking forward to not having this darn cold anymore. Thats all it is, just a cold.... but man is it ever kicking my butt!

So I think i wrote about my new years resolution that I was giving up Soda. Well, I did it. Cold turkey even and I am so happy I did. But I recently decided to give up ALL caffeine. Its difficult, meaning, I have to check labels on alot of stuff. Even hot chocolate has caffeine in it. But I think that I will be alot healthier in the long run. Heres to better health! (over time!)

Im up to 5!

so funny! I have 5 people that get updates when I post. 5 People actually want to know what goes on in this nut house on a regualr basis. Crazy people! =)
well anyway. I went to town and got my hair colored, cut, and my eyebrows waxed and I am now part red head with blonde stripes, Its super cute! But when she put the wax on my eyebrows I(being a retard) opened my eye and got my eyelashes stuck in the wax. She got them unstuck, but when I got home and tried to remove the clump of wax from them I ended up losing 6 eyelashes, Hey you win some you lose some. right?

Well, At least it smells clean.

Today, Luke dumped all my hand soap onto my microfiber couch. ALL of it. At least it smells good, Which is an improvement from what it was.

It really is a wonder how I manage to stay somewhat sane. Know whats really crazy though! I would totally have one more if we could (which we can't)! Messed up! I know!

I think that I am a little OCD when it comes to my washing machine. I scrub that thing raw! I can not have gunk on it. I didnt realize that other people didnt do this until someone mentioned it to me. I spent a good 25 min this morning steaming all the gunk from under the lid. I do this weekly cause I am terrified that it will build up. Why? Good question. You'll know when I do =).

Cirque Obsession

Tom let me book tickets for the Cirque Du Soleil show "O" in Las Vegas. I love Cirque Du Soleil. Always have, even as a kid I would love to watch them on TV. I check out the DVD's at the library. So I booked them late last night and ended up with 2nd row seats! They are even labeled as "wet seats" because most of the show takes place over/in a huge pool. I'm so stoked about it. I saw "Zumanity" last June in Vegas with Karalee and now I am quite determined to see them all! (over time of course!)

Just a Rotten kinda day.

Im just having one of those "bad mommy" days. I am having a HARD time keeping my cool. It started out ok, I did a floor puzzle with the boys, we went to the grocery store and stocked up on corned beef. It wasnt until after I had made muffins and played the Wii with Boston that things started to take a turn for the worst. We had had enough technology for the day so I said "no more Wii, Tv, or computer today. We are just going to have fun with what we have and eachother." Nice thought huh =) not so much. Boston freaked out about the Wii. Luke wanted to play with me and me only, Natalie lost her ballet shoes and I told her to look for them an hour before class, she didnt. Then when it was time to go, she freaked cause she didnt have her shoes! I just let her freak, I am trying to teach her responsibility and I think that if she doesnt find her shoes that she needs to buy new ones for herself (she gets an allowance after chores are completed). I made her go to class in just her tights. I got to get out of this attitude before Tom gets home, happy wife and mother.....happy wife and mother......happy wife and mother. Thanks all for listening to me vent. Im sure it will get much better from here on out! Love Y'all!

Shoot me please

So today I take Boston out to the bus and the bus driver says "Hi Boston! How are you?" He says "Im fine, you didnt brush your teeth cause your breath smells like poop." I truly wanted to die, that lady was soooooooooo embarassed. Needless to say I am picking Boston up from preschool today and not having him ride the bus. God Bless little Boys.

Tom's Aversion to CATS.

My husband is not a "cat" person.
So last night out of nowhere he starts ranting about cats and Kirby(natalie's cat) comes up and rubs up against his leg. Tom starts screaming at him "Get your butthole off me!". It turns out that he hates cats because their butt is exposed and they rub it on stuff.If you know my husband this would be hilarious.....He is Mr. Proper when he is discussing things. I laughed so hard I cried. It was the funniest Ive seen him act in a long time.

"Old People" Music

So I am in the car singing along with the radio. Natalie is in the backseat and says "Mom, Why do we always have to listen to "Old People" music. I was to stunned to speak at first! Old people music?! This is Green Day! Granted I do think the song came out when I was in middle school but still! It was "When I come around". When i think old people music i think of barry manilow, Not Green Day.

So I have this book......

Created to be his help meet by Debi Pearl. I have the book itself and then I have it on audio CD as well. I was listening to it while I was cleaning the house the other day and I made a conscious decision to serve my husband the best that I possibly can even if it means working myself into a sweat trying to do so. I have never seen him so happy with me. This is defiantely a change for the better, Its never been bad by ANY means but there is always room for improvement.

Anyone else read this book and tried anything from it?

Confessions of a Fashion Retard

Yeah, you heard me.....Fashion Retard.

I cannot dress myself fashionably. I have no idea where to begin. I still wear tennis shoes with everything, white shirts end up with colored bras and I dont even notice until someone points it out, I think i still dress like i did when I was a teen.
I watch that "what not to wear" and I totally look like a "before" person. I need a little help here!
