I am on day 4 of Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Ouch. However, I noticed that push ups were easier today than on day 2 or 3(well the 1st set of them anyway). She still kicks my butt and I sweat like a pig. But hey, If I want to look good I need to work at it. (Thanks for doing it with me Brooke!) And its only 2o min. 20 min of pain and agony, but 20 min none the less and its not all cardio. I HATE cardio of any sort except dancing. I need a good dance video that is not "club" dancing. When I finish working out and after I take a much needed shower, I feel great. It really sets the mood for the whole day and I am loving it. I ordered the super mom vitamins that alot of my friends were raving about , however I ordered capsules because I cannot stand to take pill vitamins, the taste and smell grosses me out.
I took the boys to get shots yesterday. They both did great. Luke however waited until we were in the dr's office in another city before informing me that he didnt bring shoes. So after shots we went to old navy and bought him the 2 for $5 flip flops and I ended up with 2 new shirts. I felt totally self indulgent about it. I even apologized to Tom when we got home and he was absolutely pushing me to do more for myself telling me how much I deserved it and that I should never feel bad about buying myself something needed. When I hung them in my closet I tossed out my fleece pajama pants and a tank top that a granny would wear. That made me feel better, dumping the frump. ;) I cant wait to go shopping.

Too much of a good thing?
I checked out 2 Cirque Du Soleil videos from the library the other day. I LOVE them. I could watch them over and over and never get bored.
However....while watching one (La Nouba) with Lucas today he announced "Mommy I can do that!" This scares me horribly because we were watching a guy do a backflip on the tightrope. I will now for the next month or so not be taking my eyes off my boy. ( you see, we might not have a tightrope, but we do have a clothesline.) ;) God Bless Little Boys.
