I learn something new everyday! Also, I have Freeloading chickens.

Today, my bonus child, Lita (16), taught me how to quickly dice tomatoes. Something so simple yet so incredibly useful for our daily life. I love to cook with fresh produce but I hate dicing both onions and tomatoes. I'm going to use her technique tomorrow when i make a taco rice casserole for supper.

I signed Matthew (3)  up for summer T-ball. I am not ready. NOT AT ALL. I don't want him to grow up. I got my second round of sweet babies and I want them to stay that way. He and I went to the grocery store tonight and he was so excited to help bring the groceries inside and put them away. He got upset when we brought them all inside and there wasn't anything else to get out of the car.

Finn (1)  made sure to put my oven mitts in the toilet for me today. That was fun. I opened the bathroom door and there were three sticking out of the toilet bowl. He just grinned, giggled, and ran away. That blond haired little sneak. I love him anyway.

I'm not sure whether our chickens are on strike or they are beginning to molt. Either way, they are not currently laying eggs which makes me feel like I am being taken advantage of. They have a nice coop which I have so graciously decorated and kept clean..... Freaking Freeloaders.  Natalie (15) makes fun of me for there being pictures hanging on the walls of the coop but I really think that a nice environment is important for all creatures to feel comfortable, mine are just getting too comfortable and think they don't have to do anything now.

Little Men

My littlest boys are getting so big. Matthew is 3 and Finn is 1. They are a whirlwind of chaos all the time and I love it.  Reminds me a lot of my older 2 boys at this age.

Matt is a walking recorder. You ALWAYS have to watch what you say around that child because I can guarantee that he will be repeating it. He's a spirited little guy with loads of energy and is constantly on the go.
Finn is rambunctious. This kid is going to make me crazy. You can tell him "no" and he will stare you down as he keeps on doing what he's going to do. He's also a mama's boy. This is the part of him I ADORE.
TOGETHER they are partners in crime. I'm sure I'll have plenty of adventures to document. There is never a dull moment in this household.
