::sigh:: just like his mama...

Boston: Mom! Luke says that this toy is his but its not! Its mine!

Luke: Yeah, But I really want it!

Boston: Too bad Luke, Its mine.....and I am done with this conversation!

Luke: But...

Boston: Nope, I am done with this conversation, Not going to hear it, Not going to hear it at all.

Do you know how hard it is to keep a straight face when your 6 year old is giving you an exact recap of yourself? Boston tattles all the time and that is really word for word what I say to him. I had to run in and tell Tom and he told me to go and blog it immediately so I didnt forget. Sheesh...what a smart guy. I love that man.

RIP....Rest in Pieces, stupid bird.

See this chicken.....She was delicious.

She had been eating the eggs that were being laid, I had had enough and so when my friend had a butchering party of her 75 meat birds I took the opportunity to slaughter her start to finish by myself.

We Bbq'd her and then I stewed the rest of her and it just so happens to be the BEST chicken broth I have ever had. Yum-O.

I am totally going to raise meat birds next year and am defiantely considering raising turkeys too. Anyone want in on this deal ? ;)

Pip and Pig.....a Love Story

Pip is our new cayuga duckling. We got 3, but thats another story. He was incredibly lonely without his siblings so we put this stuffed pig toy into his box. It was love at 1st sight. Pip snuggles with it, and does not want us touching his pig. Its quite possibly the cutest thing ever. We will be moving Pip to a bigger enclosure here soon and Im sure that Pig will have to be relocated with him, they are THAT close.

guess what?

I'm going to be 30 on the 11th! Wow! I'm a little shocked at how fast time seems to be flying by. It seems like I blink and another year is gone.
This year however I've done something brave and slightly unexpected of me.
I joined apple city roller derby. Yes, me. Farm chick, Housewife, Nerd, Baker Extraordinare, SAHM, DERBY GIRL. Thats now me and I wouldnt change it for anything. I'm gaining confidence in what I do as a person not just as a skater. Ive made awesome friends. Ive got a long way to go, but I am looking forward to accomplishing new things and making this MY time. Heres to new things in my 3oth year!

It doesnt just happen to me!

We were all outside tonight and the kids were riding bikes and scooters. Tom was smoking his tobacco pipe (which he RARELY ever does) and here's h0w it went.

Boston: Dad, Smoking turns your teeth yellow.

Tom: Well its a good thing I dont smoke very much then.

Boston: Actually, I already saw your teeth yellow.

Bwahahahaha! Its not just me! I laughed sooooo hard.

Birthday Season

My BABY turned 5! I can not believe it that I am no longer a mother of toddlers, but now qualify as a mom of grade schoolers!

That wonderful man I'm married to, yeah that one....He turned 30! We took the kids to the Seattle Mariners opening day game. They loved it and Tom had a really great time as well. (Yes, it is impossible for me to get all of my kids to smile at the same time.....I tried, sheesh let it go ;))

Im going to be taking alot of pictures of the animals (real animals, not the ones i gave birth too) the next few days so be sure to check them out!

What we've been up to lately here at Chateau Sauvageau

We have had a pretty busy spring if you ask me. I am soooooo ready for school to be out and for us to just get to have some free time to just be a family and get to be together.

Miss Natalie(far right) had her ballet recital, it was really cute and quite fast which I loved considering that we had both of the boys with us.

Tom decided to be the sponsor for the boys' t-ball team this year. Its super cute to watch, Luke always tries to run to second when he is supposed to stop on 1st. I love that kid. Boston likes to play in the dirt with his feet most of the time.

Natalie (far left) got to be in the Grand Parade this year and still talks about daily. Look! Theres

Brooke! Hi Brooke!

Look! Its me! and my little nephew Christian. This kept him entertained for a moment so i could distract him from chasing the motorcycle drill team down the parade route.
