Hi all! We are back from our trip, but thats another post this week complete with pictures!
While we were in Arkansas I went to the Hobby Lobby (aka my new favorite store) and while I was shopping my dad came up to me and insisted that I buy this bandana thing for my dog, Insisting that the "dog will love it". I gave in and did it even knowing that Happy would hate it. We put it on the dog when we got back to my grandparents house and the dog moped around the rest of the day.
We got home and I was outside today and I found his bandana out by the chicken coop sprawled out completely flat with a giant turd in the middle of it. I laughed. If only dogs could talk. ;)

I'm sick
I have strep throat. It sucks.
- Antibiotics+DayQuil+NyQuil+Popsicles= A better mood for alicia, minus the brainfreeze after eating the popsicles too fast trying to numb my throat.
- Mashing up maximum strength cough drops in a bit of water to make something to gargle does nothing for your throat. However, it will make your ears numb.
- When running a 103 degree fever and sweating because of it, it will make your glasses fog up and children find that HILARIOUS. Me, not so much.
- Yes, I did get my children off the bus in my light blue jammies with the pink flowers on them, I probably scarred them for life. Whoops.
- When you stand in the shower for an hour with the hot water blasting you dont notice yourself drooling.
- When you can't swallow....you drool. Enough said.
- You can only sleep with so much "Lockup" playing in the background before your medication really starts to mess with your dreams ;) I was dreaming that I was having lunch with the warden of Louisiana State Pen. But I had to cancel because I had strep throat and couldnt talk. MESSED UP!
Thanks for your prayers! I hate being sick.

An accumulation of sorts
We now have 6 chickens, 3 ducks, a dog and a cat. I love all of them except the cat.
I think the reason that I want all these animals is to fill that funny " I need a 4th child void" that I still have going on. Tom keeps letting me get more and more because I know he dosent want any more children. I really hope that this longing goes away someday, Its getting old to deal with.
- My "Baby" will be 4 on the 18th of next month. Granted he is still the size of your average 2 year old. ;) He is my Lucas and I love him anyway.
- We are taking our 1st camping trip of the year tomorrow and I am excited about it. I need to have some "clear the brain" time with some reading and list making so I can sort it all out.
- My Celebrity Crush: Usher. Dont hate!
- I tried to make an apple bread yesterday and it totally flopped. I get absolutely crushed when that happens.
- I always get the gas when I get my teeth cleaned. I dont "need"it, I just like it. ;)
We are thinking of a fall cruise, either to mexico or the carribean. Anyone want to join us? I would LOVE to go with a big group of people. Anyone?

A few thoughts on being Lickable.
Lickable? Well yeah, I guess that was going to be me 3 years ago.
I dont think Ive ever really told this story, But here it goes......
My mother-in-law for my birthday a few years back wanted to buy me personalized license plates for my new minivan. I thought that sounded alright. We went down to the place where you pay for tabs for your car (Im spacing on the name) and she filled out all the information for me and then presented it to me, very proudly I might add.
My new plates were going to say "Licabel". My nickname is Aliciabelle. This was her way of shortening it for me.
How do you break it to your mother-in-law that you dont want to be that "lickable" woman driving around town in your minivan with 3 kids in tow?
I couldnt tell her.
She was oblivious to it.
I felt bad, so I said thank you. And I still to this day praise GOD that I never actually received my plates. THAT was the best present.
I am officially Un-Lickable.

Freaking NASTY!
and this post is not even about my children!
I was looking at my skin in the mirror tonight ( I am a "moley creature" according to my DR.) checking for abnormalities and I noticed a perfectly shaped empty red circle on my left shoulder. Yes.....Ringworm. Effing cat! I HATE that animal and it hates me back apparantly. I went and found her and sure enough, she has it on her belly. Now i have to take her to vet tomorrow and bleach myself! Gross! I checked everyone in my little family. I am the only one with it. The cat tries to sleep in our bed when she sneaks inside and ALWAYS on my side of the bed up near the top....where my shoulder would be.
I want to vomit.
I quit.

Why yes...I am a happy camper. (Today)
I decided that I was going to start eating healthier today.
And then I passed the donut cabinet at safeway.
I will not start eating healthier today.
Maybe tomorrow ;)
We are doing well here! I got 2 new chicks yesterday and a baby cayuga duck. I am excited to see what color its going to be when she/he gets bigger. I think that he/she will be my new mascot. I woke up at the crack of dawn today and I am wide awake. I get a few hours to myself in wenatchee and I am looking forward to it. I might go and check out that new "adult" store on the north end of town. I havent been able to get there because I always have children with me.
Im sure that Tom wont mind if I stop in and look around for a bit. ;)
My goodness it smells amazing outside. I LOVE the smell of spring out here! The grass is getting greener and the sun is out. It just dosent get much better than this!
I have to go and get my boy a donut. I'll write more later.
