Cause I am not going to lose my hair again!

I take vitamins. Alot of vitamins. I take almost 400mg of Biotin a day, just in reassurance that my hair is not going to fall out this time. (whenever I seem to fluxuate weight my hair tends to fall out on the sides) I had a mullet for months last time! It was horrid! But I have noticed that I am starting to smell "vitamin-y" my skin smells weird, almost bitter. But I am learning to make the best of it.....and my fingernails are hard as rocks! Love that!
Boston had his 1st soccer practice of the year last night and he did really well, much much better than I was expecting him to do. He seemed to like it. Natalie had gotten a flattened cardboard box and wrote "Go Boston!" on it. It was the sweetest sibling guesture. I love how much my kids really do love eachother.
I watched The Green Mile last night with Tom and we just snuggled together on the couch. It was a really nice evening. I miss getting him to myself like that. He really is a dream come true. (not to mention I think he is super hot!)

So

I went shopping with the kids for school clothes today and ended up spending a small fortune. Oh well, at least they'll look cute. (Or so I hope...I am a self proclaimed "fashion retard") I got both Natalie and Boston new shoes too, I tried really hard to talk Nattie into some super cute pink and white Adidas but no, she wanted the Hannah Montana shoes. I give up. Of course I had to end up with good old spider man for Bo.
I am considering leaving the blonde life for a bit and trading it in for some brunette for the fall. Ive been blonde for so long that I think the dye has soaked into my brain J/k. Something funny, I told Tom about needing to get my hair dyed again and he said "I didn't know that you dye your hair". Really? We have been married for 8 years and you have no Idea what my natural hair color is? (Its VERY dirty blonde for those who are curious.....It suits me =).
Our grapes are ripe out on the vine and Tom and the kids have been eating them all day. Its cute how much Natalie absolutely loves eating home grown fruits and veggies. I think that she is going to be my little farm girl someday. Who knows.
Did you know that my husband has NEVER read my blog? I couldnt believe it. but alas its true. look at all he is missing out on! =) Love to all my readers! Subscribed or not....I love you all anyway!

I am anxious

about school starting again. I think its just because all 3 of them are going and Im worried about what I am going to do without them to keep me busy at home. Geez, I hope I dont have to resort to more housework. School starts the 2nd and Boston has his 1st soccer game that night. Craziness! I never did get around to getting my kids swimming lessons this year either. Bad Mommy! I do have to head to town tomorrow to pick up all Natalie's school supplies, and shoes for both Natalie and Bo. She is more excited about getting a lunchbox than anything else. I think its pretty cute.
Lucas is potty trained! Woot! Its about stinking time too!
Ok, my husband needs new underwear, I mentioned that I could pick some up at the store tomorrow and he went on a rant about how he loves the ones he has. (They are mostly spongebob....for crying out loud!) Should I just buy him new ones anyway?

Mama needs to go shopping!

I am in dire need of a new wardrobe. I look soooo not put together. I am definitely going to have to really put some effort into looking better. The last thing I need is for my husband to be embarrassed to be married to a frumpy looking lady. He says that he isn't, but hey, It doesn't hurt to try. (I did get a new purse! Its a start!)
I am making scalloped potatoes for dinner, thats Tom's favorite. It sure smells good cooking, but I dont really care for the flavor. He however will snarf it down as fast as I can get it on the table. =) I love that guy.
The Boys went through 9 packages of baby wipes today, just playing. Sometimes I really want to strangle those little bundles of love. They had them all over their room and had filled two of their plastic bins with water and were sitting in them. I had left them in their room for maybe......10 min, if that! Those kids of mine are fast!

How I start my day

I am in bed and Luke comes to my side of the bed and announces "Mommy, How come you arent in the kitchen where you live?"

Really? I "Live" in there now?
Things are really looking up for me I tell ya!

I thought this stuff wasnt supposed to happen until they're teenagers.

I noticed Luke laying on the couch on his back today. He announced "Mommy! Look!". He had taken 6 of Natalie's rubberbands for her hair ( the little ones) and wrapped them around his penis. It was PURPLE! I panicked and tried to get them off as fast as I could (Hello! My grandchildren are going to come from there!) I got all of them and he slowly turned back to the fleshy toned color that he needs to be, but seriously! Why me?! He is only 3 for goodness sake, What am I going to do when he's 14?

To top that off, He is mad at me for taking them off. He wanted to "show Daddy". Daddy doesnt really need to see all this, I promise.

Good Lord be with me!

Its my Anniversary!

I have been married for 8 years! I am such a lucky girl. We are going to eat in Seattle tonight to celebrate. Hooray for excellent food!

I had been awake for about an hour when the phone rang and it was the East Wenatchee sewer district saying that they were going to have to put a lein on the Lacey Place property if the sewer bill wasnt payed today. I didnt even know it was overdue. Our renters at the property had just decided not to pay for the last 4 months and not tell anyone. I was MAD! What a way to start a day. So now we have to cover their bill because they cant seem to pay and then bother them about it until we get payed back. SOOOOO FRUSTRATING!

Anyhow.......
Boston woke up this morning and walked right past me and I asked him where he was going...he said matter of factly " I'm going to give Natalie a hug" . What a sweet boy. I love that kid.

Something else of note....
It has been 9 months since I have had caffeine. Crazy huh! I am very proud, but really missing my diet pepsi. However, I bought diet caffeine free dr pepper and am happily enjoying it as I type this. =) I hope everyone has a great day!

10 Random thoughts/things for the day...

1. I will NOT eat green beans any other way than canned. No matter what anyone does to them to make them taste better. They dont! But I LOVE canned ones.
2. Im considering getting some ducks next spring. Thier eggs are better for baking than chicken eggs.
3. Dish soap + sidewalk chalk + Sauvageau Children = A Very Large mess!
4. I love that my husband golfs. I think its cute how excited about it he gets about it.
5. I get excited about going to work. I look forward to it all week. (I work tonight! Yay!)
6. Heat + Cabin Fever = Grumpy Alicia
7. I despise washing my car. I put it off until my husband tells me it HAS to be done.
8. Boston was completely naked this morning when he got up except for his red sox hat.
9. My kids know all the words to the "clifford" song on TV and sing along. I think its adorable.
10. Ralph was here this afternoon and Luke was naked from the waist down. I was embarassed, but hey....He's a boy!

Something Smells Fishy Here........

So my beautiful 6 year old daughter was "helping" me without my knowledge. She neatly poured out my coriander into the kitchen trash and promptly refilled the jar with food pellets for her fish Apple Dumpling and then placed the jar back into my spice rack. I was unaware of her antics until I was making soup yesterday and added "coriander". In about 10 minutes something started to smell really "fishy". Not yummy salmon fishy either, Like dead on the riverbank fishy. When I realized it was my soup I started checking all my spices and sure enough, I had added a teaspoon of fish food to my wonderful vegetable soup.
Natalie's Explanation: "Apple Dumpling likes it so I thought that you might too mommy"

I love kids.

I found my cell phone

at the bottom of the washing machine. Sigh.....Time for a new one. Soooo If you called in the last few days or left me a text, I havent gotten them and its best just to call my house. =)

My sister in law had given us a huge box of peaches and apricots so I made a bunch of peach jam and let the kids eat the rest. They loved them. However, they loved them on my carpet all over my table and all over the back porch. Nothing like finding slimy apricot leavings on the carpet I tell ya! Thats what happens when the kids get up before I do and decided to "make breakfast" for themselves. I quit.
I love having AC in this house! It is soooo nice to not have to suffer or have grumpy hot children. AMEN!
In the last 2 days.........

1. The Boys flooded their bathroom
2. The kids dumped out an entire bottle of 7.00 mouthwash from the dentist.
3. The next day they dumped out half of Natalies mouthwash (which I had hidden!)
4. Luke smashed blueberries into my cream colored carpet.
5. They tied the sled to the back of Natalie's bike. (I'll let you guess what happened next)

SO in all honestly it has not been that bad of a week. I have had MUCH worse....I really do love what I do. I thank God for these little "Blessings" daily. I dont know what I would do without them!
