Skin and Blood and Bones....Oh My!

I just get out of the shower and I hear a scream. I go running to find it (naked). I find Boston (4 1/2) in the dining room with blood all over his right foot and he is hysterical. The breakfast nook bench had tipped over onto his 1st and 2nd toe. I scooped him up and put both him and luke in the car and grab my purse and get in, once i sit down and realize that I am still naked. I run back inside and put on whatever is closest and run and jump back into the car and drive to the Leavenworth ER. My boy has 2 broken bloody toes and is done with soccer for the year. Sigh.
We are home now and he is on the couch watching spongebob all doped up and his foot is elevated but I am just beat! What a way to drain all of your stored up energy!

Its about time!

at 18 weeks one of my chickens laid its 1st egg 2 days ago. I was Ecstatic! Natalie ended up breaking the egg within 15 minutes, but still! Ive got eggs! Getting chickens is finally paying off!

A new found addiction.

My favorite store hands down is Sephora. Its nothing but makeup and perfume and I LOVE it! I don't usually even wear makeup but lately I have been a little more pressed to try. Ive been to a few of the stores but my favorite one so far is the one in Bellvue square. I could spend hours in there just smelling everything that they have to offer. I need to go and spend a day at the mall, Its been WAY to long since Ive gotten to just shop like that. I might see If i can take Ashlynn with me, She is the worlds best shopping partner.

Its date night tonight! Woot! I love Wednesdays lately,mops/ soccer/awana/date with my Tom! Its like the best of everything all rolled into one day!

Zumba

I went to my 1st Zumba class this morning and I found out 2 things about myself.

1. I am aerobically retarded.
2. I am horribly out of cardio shape.

However, It was fun. I do make hip twirls look good I must admit, minus the super sweaty redness of my face of course. I had no idea that it was going to be an HOUR long! an HOUR! I did an HOUR of cardio and didnt quit. Hell must have frozen over or something. =) I sure hope that this pays off in the long run. I am actually looking forward to going next week.

silicone goodness

I want new boobs. Once I get rid of this weight (again) I am going to another consultation, in seattle this time. The one in wenatchee does procedures a few months apart and I want it all done at the same time. I am really looking forward to it, I have a relative that got new ones and hers look AMAZING! I just might be giving that Dr a call =).

I joined Curves in cashmere. I love it there! What a fun way to exercise. No pressure, Its just fun to go in and chat and workout all at the same time. I am however already developing biceps, not good as I tend to bulk up fast. I just dont want to look like a man! (with boobs! =))

Did you know...that old navy sells shirts in tall sizes! I am so excited to get to buy a shirt that the sleeves will go all the way to the end of my arms and not hike up between my wrist and forearms, This is exciting for me! (For those who didnt know I am 5'9 with loooong arms and legs) I have never minded being tall with the one exception that I cannot sit on my husbands lap without looking really weird, you know like an oversized child with an attatchment disorder.

Yeah....I'll just leave it at that =)

Toothless Wonder

Natalie lost her front right top tooth. Its adorable in a hillbilly type way. I love it. She talks a bit with a lisp now (just like her mama!). You know, I took speech therapy for 6 years from 6th grade until I graduated and all it helped with at all is just making me more self concious about it (It also got me out of math class). But I didnt like to have to report to the retarded kid room once a week.

Yeah, I think that warped me.

Do NOT.....

add benefiber to everything you eat! I am paying for that stupid decision.

You know you are pathetic when......

1. You wait for your children to go to sleep so that you can catch the latest episode of iCarly that you recorded "for the kids".
2. You spend over an hour researching how to dry bananas the correct way.
3. You know that you get 2 hours to yourself tomorrow and still cannot think of anything other than housework to get done during that time.
4. You fantasize about a tattoo that you are still to chicken to get.
5. You consider adding "benefiber" to everything you eat, just because.
6. You secretly want black hair even knowing you'll look like a high school goth.
7. You paint your fingernails "slut red" cause you have nothing better to do.
8. You get excited about going to work at midnight.
9. You read ahead in the chapter book you are reading to your children because you really want to know what happens to Junie B!

Yeah you guessed it. Its ME! Such is my life =)

Sorry, I just wanted a catchy title. =)

But really, My butt is flat. Flat as a pancake flat. Im working on it and its getting smaller. But it still is flat. Anyone know of anything I can do to help this situation? Ive been doing the pilates and that is really helping me lose weight quickly. I love it. My butt is killing me, so i know its getting a workout. Im actually standing as I type this =).

Natalie scored 2 goals at her soccer game this weekend. I was soooo proud of that kid. Once she scored she looked over to make sure that we were watching and then she got all shy about it. It was pretty cute. Boston just likes to run and eat snack at half time and afterwards. Thats my boy. Luke played in the dirt the entire time, again....thats my boy.

The other day I was sick. I slept most of the day and had to miss an important PTA meeting and I couldnt go with Natalie's class to the fair which I really wanted to go with her! when I woke up at about 3ish I had a nametag on that Natalie had made for me, It said "mom" in purple crayon and I had a smokey the bear pin in my hand...with all the wording in spanish. I love my little girl. I mean how cute is that!

Overload!

I feel burdened. I have alot on my plate and it is beginning to wear on me. Granted, I dont work full time or anything but It just seems like school, soccer, preschool, MOPS,PIE, Awana, and a JOB on top of it are just starting to wear me thin.
The plus side of my life lately ? Ummmm.....I am 25 lbs thinner. =)

Natalie loves school. But not soccer.
Boston loves soccer. But not MOPS.
Lucas loves anything where there is going to be food. =) He is my boy!

I canned grape jelly the other day with the grapes from our yard and it turned out soooo yummy. I had never made jelly before and I was seriously impressed.
I got alot done today that I had been wanting to get finished. I used my food saver and packaged a TON of food that I had been meaning to get done. My goal is to completely fill the freezer before it snows. Im about 1/3 of the way there. I was going to make a few lasagne pans to freeze but when I priced it out its actually cheaper to buy it already assembled and frozen than to make my own. Stouffers here we come!

I love musicals

I think in another life I was a broadway actress. There is nothing I love to do more when I am alone than to sing and dance! I am horrible at both, but I just LOVE it. Mamma Mia is my current favorite followed closely by Hairspray.
Tom agreed to take me to the Opera. I just have to get tickets. I am so excited. That is something I have always wanted to see. He took me to the Symphony when we were dating and I liked it, but I got a little bored just watching people sit there with instruments. At least at the opera there is some sort of story line for me to follow. It is the only kind of "musical" I think I will ever get him to attend. He does not share my love for song and dance =).
Boston had a soccer game at 9:30 this morning and Natalie had one at 11:00. It was pouring rain and Natalie's game got cancelled. She pouted about it by locking herself in her bathroom and making us almost a half an hour late to Boston's game. I was LIVID! What a selfish thing for a kid to do. Oh well, we talked about it and things should go better next week. She is a 1st grader now and already likes school. Im happy she likes it so much. Bo and Luke start on the 14th and I am really excited about that. I can get a little bit of time to myself in the mornings to wither go to the gym, clean house, grocery shop alone, or even just get some extra needed sleep. AMEN!

The Pirate Boat

I was watching Luke play on the floor with his toys the other day. Here is how our conversation went.

A: Whatcha doing buddy?

L: Playing with my pirate shit.

A: With your pirate ship? ::while trying to keep a strait face::

L: No with my pirate shit!

A: No sweetie, Its ShiP with a P sound.

L: Yeah! Shit!

Yeah, About that. We are going to have to work on the "P" sound. We have now taken to calling it a pirate boat.
