I'm still alive and kicking....kinda

Very few things make me as happy as a RuPaul's Drag Race Marathon! I love that show so much. I love to watch people be who they want to be and not who they HAVE to be to please other people. The new season starts tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited!
I got to spend time with James last night, It was really nice to just sit and talk and play games together. I love that he is interested in what I have to say. He takes my ideas seriously and not just as "Alicia's Dreaming". It gives me so much confidence to have someone think that I can be anything I want to be, I don't have to fit into someones idea of a perfect partner. I already am enough. When you feel that way there is nothing more freeing in being able to be who you are and who you were created to be.
Not so exciting news, I get to have a kidney removed. This is not something that I ever thought I would have to do, I am ready for it to be out.
I was watching TV with Luke the other night and a commercial for womens razors comes on and he looks at me in sheer horror and says "Women shave?". I had to explain it to him but he is still creeped out by it, I had to show him my razor and everything. Silly kid.
He has been such a snuggler lately. Always attached to me while we are at home. I don't mind one bit. He is going to be 8 in April and he is almost 4 feet tall.  He still fits in my lap just fine and I am going to let him continue to sit there as long as he wants.
Boston likes to use big words in conversation, sometimes it throws me off a bit. He is 9. I have heard the words; awkward, suffocating, perfection, sanitized, impeccable, and my favorite....unfortunate.
He had to write a report on someone that he loves, he chose his brother. Talk about melting a mommy heart. He does love his brother, they are best friends. They do not like to be away from eachother. They share a room but I think that if they had their own room we would have a hard time trying to keep them apart. I think that they feel like they are the other's safety net. I think its beautiful.
