Just another day here at the Chateau Sauvageau...

I got my 1st "white" egg this morning. Which means 1 of my 2 white leghorns has started laying. Yay! Pretty soon I will be collecting 4-ish eggs a day. Omlets galore!

I havent gone to work all week because my wonderful coworker Jake has swine flu and I am way to chicken to work from 12-4am by myself . Ummm......creepy. And with cheif outside! Yeah, I think not. (freaking scarecrow!) So I will not be returning to work until tuesday night. I need a new cute apron. (Brooke, do you think you could help me make one? I'll try to keep the foul language to a minimum this time! I am a sewing retard for those who didnt know, Brooke is not.)

I did however take my boys to Smallwoods Harvest a few days ago and that was the 1st time that I have ever been there when they let the llamas out of their cage to just roam around the whole petting zoo. It was Freaking Pandemonium! My kids screamed, I was face to face with the llama that spits. The llama took the feed bag out of my had and took off with it. The donkey hee-hawed in Boston's face and permantly scarred the boy of all things "donkeyish". It is not easy to try and walk out of a petting zoo with two 35ish pound appendages attatched to you when you are just as scared as the kids and trying not to show it!!

My daughter read me a whole book last night. Do you ever just sit there in awe of your child? I cannot believe that she is 6. It seems like she was just learning to walk, now she is taking over the soccer field!? Missing front teeth!? Where has the time gone!

I need to make myself an apron too. I'm going to go hit up JoAnn's Columbus Day Sale this weekend and get myself some cute fabric. :-) Too bad I'm not there, we could get together with Brooke and sew em up together. Love ya!!

Seriously ladies, apron exchange for Christmas...wait we want them for all the holiday baking. Let's do an exchange for Halloween so we have them :-)

What about Sunday afternoon after Brian's birthday party? Or next weekend after applesauce?
